Welcome to MYOGUIDE® Mentor. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the MYOGUIDE® Mentor website, educational platform, courses, interactive learning tools, simulations, artificial intelligence features, assessments, and related services (collectively, the “Service”).
By accessing or using the Service, creating an account, enrolling in a course, or purchasing access, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use the Service.
1. About MYOGUIDE® Mentor
MYOGUIDE® Mentor is an interactive educational platform designed to support learning through curated educational content, interactive models and simulations, assessments, feedback, and AI-assisted learning tools.
The Service is intended for educational purposes. Certain courses may address dentistry, healthcare, anatomy, clinical sciences, medical devices, or other professional subjects.
2. Educational Use
Content provided through MYOGUIDE® Mentor is intended to support education and training and does not replace formal professional education, supervised clinical training, institutional requirements, professional certification, or independent professional judgment.
Healthcare-related content is not medical or dental advice and should not be used as the sole basis for diagnosis, treatment, patient care, or other clinical decisions.
Users remain responsible for complying with the standards, policies, laws, regulations, and professional requirements applicable to their education or practice.
3. Artificial Intelligence and Interactive Learning Tools
MYOGUIDE® Mentor may use artificial intelligence and other automated technologies to provide explanations, tutoring, feedback, remediation, assessment support, navigation of interactive content, or other learning experiences.
These systems are designed to support learning but may occasionally produce incomplete, inaccurate, or unexpected responses.
AI-generated responses should therefore be considered educational assistance rather than authoritative professional advice.
Where MYOGUIDE® Mentor restricts AI systems to selected or curated educational sources, those safeguards are intended to improve relevance and reliability but do not guarantee that every response will be error-free.
Users should critically evaluate information presented by AI-assisted features and refer to appropriate authoritative sources, instructors, or qualified professionals when necessary.
4. Accounts and Access
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality and security of your account credentials.
Unless expressly permitted by MYOGUIDE® Mentor or an applicable institutional agreement, accounts are intended for individual use and may not be shared, transferred, resold, or made available to another person.
You agree to provide accurate information when creating or maintaining an account and to notify us if you believe your account has been accessed without authorization.
5. Courses, Assessments and Learning Progress
Courses may contain lessons, quizzes, examinations, interactive simulations, AI-assisted activities, question banks, feedback, remediation, or other educational components.
Course content, assessment methods, availability, and functionality may be updated as educational material and the platform evolve.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, completion of a MYOGUIDE® Mentor course does not constitute professional licensure, certification, accreditation, or authorization to perform a regulated professional activity.
6. Fees, Subscriptions and Payment
Certain MYOGUIDE® Mentor content or services may require payment.
Prices, subscription periods, and applicable charges will be presented before purchase. By purchasing a paid Service, you authorize the applicable payment processor to charge the payment method you provide.
Where access is offered on a recurring subscription basis, applicable recurring charges and cancellation terms will be disclosed during enrollment or purchase.
Payments may be processed by third-party payment providers. MYOGUIDE® Mentor does not necessarily receive or retain your complete payment-card information.
Applicable taxes may be added where required by law.
7. Cancellation and Refunds
Cancellation and refund eligibility may depend on the particular course, subscription, institutional arrangement, or product purchased.
Any specific cancellation or refund terms presented at the time of purchase form part of these Terms.
Nothing in these Terms limits refund, cancellation, or consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded under applicable law.
8. Intellectual Property
The MYOGUIDE® Mentor platform and its original content are protected by intellectual property laws.
Unless otherwise indicated, course materials, educational content, question banks, assessments, graphics, illustrations, interactive models, simulations, software, interfaces, audiovisual material, instructional designs, and related materials made available through MYOGUIDE® Mentor are owned by or licensed to MYOGUIDE® Mentor and/or its affiliated entities and content partners.
Access to the Service provides you with a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the applicable materials for authorized educational purposes.
You may not, without authorization:
- reproduce or redistribute substantial portions of course content;
- copy or publish question banks or assessments;
- sell, sublicense, or commercially exploit MYOGUIDE® Mentor content;
- systematically download, scrape, harvest, or extract platform content or data;
- use MYOGUIDE® Mentor content to create or train competing educational products or artificial intelligence systems;
- circumvent access controls or security mechanisms; or
- remove copyright, trademark, attribution, or proprietary notices.
9. Acceptable Use
You agree not to misuse the Service or interfere with its operation.
You must not attempt to gain unauthorized access to accounts, systems, databases, AI services, assessments, administrative functions, or other restricted portions of the platform.
You must not intentionally introduce malicious software or use automated systems in a manner that disrupts the Service or materially interferes with other users.
10. Institutional and Educational Organization Use
Schools, universities, colleges, training organizations, healthcare organizations, and other institutions may receive access under separate agreements with MYOGUIDE® Mentor.
Where an institutional agreement applies, that agreement may establish additional or different provisions concerning access, content, learner administration, analytics, institutional materials, privacy, licensing, support, or payment.
If an institutional agreement conflicts with these Terms, the institutional agreement will govern to the extent of that conflict.
11. Institution-Provided Content
Educational institutions or other authorized partners may provide their own educational materials for use within MYOGUIDE® Mentor.
Ownership of institution-provided materials remains with the applicable institution or rights holder unless otherwise agreed.
The institution or organization providing such material is responsible for ensuring that it has the necessary rights and permissions to provide and use that content through the Service.
12. Availability and Changes to the Service
We may modify, improve, replace, update, or discontinue features of the Service as the platform evolves.
We may also temporarily suspend access for maintenance, security, technical issues, upgrades, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
While we aim to provide reliable access, uninterrupted or error-free operation cannot be guaranteed.
13. Suspension or Termination
We may restrict, suspend, or terminate access where reasonably necessary because of misuse of the Service, violation of these Terms, security concerns, non-payment, infringement of intellectual property rights, or unlawful activity.
Users may stop using the Service at any time, subject to any applicable subscription, payment, or institutional agreement.
14. Privacy
Use of MYOGUIDE® Mentor is also subject to our Privacy Policy, which describes how personal information is collected, used, protected, and otherwise handled.
15. Third-Party Services
MYOGUIDE® Mentor may rely on or integrate with third-party technologies and service providers, including hosting, payment processing, artificial intelligence, communications, analytics, and other technology services.
Use of certain third-party functionality may also be subject to the applicable provider’s terms and privacy practices.
16. Disclaimer of Warranties
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the Service is provided on an “as available” basis.
Although reasonable efforts are made to maintain accurate, useful, and current educational content, MYOGUIDE® Mentor does not warrant that every item of content, AI-generated response, assessment, simulation, or other feature will always be complete, accurate, uninterrupted, or error-free.
Nothing in this section excludes warranties or consumer protections that cannot legally be excluded.
17. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, MYOGUIDE® Mentor and its affiliated entities, officers, employees, contractors, licensors, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or similar damages arising from use of, or inability to use, the Service.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where such exclusion or limitation is prohibited by applicable law.
18. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms periodically to reflect changes to the Service, applicable laws, technology, or our business practices.
The current version will be posted on this page together with its effective or last-updated date. Continued use of the Service following an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms where permitted by applicable law.
19. Governing Law
These Terms will be governed by the laws applicable to the entity providing the Service and the jurisdiction specified for the applicable transaction or institutional agreement, subject to any mandatory consumer protection laws or other rights that apply in the user’s jurisdiction.
